Das Warten hat nun endlich ein Ende! Die langersehnte A-ZX Kollektion von adidas ist nun endlich am Start und den Auftakt wird der ZX 1000 von 1990 machen, welchen es noch nie vorher als Retro gab. Durch die weltweite Pandemie gab es leider diverse Verzögerungen und Verschiebungen und einige von Euch waren schon leicht abgenervt aufgrund des ganzen Hin und Her. Eure Geduld soll sich aber auszahlen, denn der ZX 1000 ist ein Schmuckstück geworden, so viel ist sicher! Anders als bei der A-ZX Serie von 2008, wird es dieses Mal keine alphabetische Reihenfolge geben, denn der Anfang wird mit dem R gemacht, welches für RETRO steht.
Das Modell hat ein Obermaterial aus synthetischem Wildleder, welches farblich den Vintage-Look aufgreift. Die Toebox ist aus Mesh und trägt ein wunderschönes Blau, ebenso die Ferse, welche durch Pinstripes noch aufgewertet wird. Die Streifen aus Stoff tragen ebenfalls das signifikante Blau, abgesetzt mit einem schwarzen Streifen. Die berühmte Torsionwelle darf ebenso nicht fehlen wie der gelbe „Knochen” in der zweigeteilten Sohle, welche aus PU gefertigt ist.
Für unser Editorial sind wir quer durch Kreuzberg gecruist. Und auch wenn der Sound beim Elektrofahrzeug nicht der krasseste ist, so entschädigt die Silhouette doch für Einiges.

The wait is finally over! The long-awaited AZX collection from adidas is finally here and the ZX 1000 from 1990, which has never been available as a retro before, will be the first to start. Due to the worldwide pandemic, there have been several delays and postponements and some of you have been a little nervous because of all the back and forth. But your patience should pay off, because the ZX 1000 has become a jewel, that is for sure! Unlike the 2008 AZX series, this time there will be no alphabetical order, as the start will be with the R, which stands for RETRO. The model has a synthetic suede upper, which picks up the vintage look in colour. The toebox is made of mesh and drenched in a beautiful blue colourway, as does the heel, which is enhanced by pinstripes. The fabric stripes also have the significant blue, contrasted with a black stripe. The famous Torsion wave is also included as well as the yellow “bone” in the two-piece sole, which is made of PU.
For our editorial we have cruised across Kreuzberg. And even if the sound of the electric car is not the loudest, the silhouette compensates for a lot.
