Moving from “˜lively white’, we now explore the explosion of colour into the next 1951 Collection. Until 1951, LACOSTE was content to produce only a single colour, “˜the’ colour of tennis, a powerful, iconic statement to the world. We now celebrate the move into modernity, embracing the generation of colour.

After 1951, LACOSTE began to expand, branching from tennis whites and introducing coloured shirts, apparel and footwear. This specially crafted collection takes classic LACOSTE court silhouettes that embody the brand’s tennis heritage and chart the evolution of colour by launching 1951: Now In Colour. Inspired by the three famous coloured bands of the “˜drapeau franí§ais’, the tricolore finish is the archetypal reference to France’s most iconic palette. A specially designed 1951 logo and bespoke in-sock will be featured on all the styles of the collection.
